Just got time to really sit down and concentrate on postin' up somthin' new and hot off the press:P

Well, Mista Butler and ol' Hooty Baby came cruisin' through JH on friday evening. Little did I recognize while they were both on the couch that Darren is on Crutches now! He's almost walking, still experiencing some pain in his ankles but is in High Spirits and is on the mend! Darren will ride again!

Today, Monday; Darren's birthday he went for a pedal on the seawall! Although not up to his usual riding difficulty he is back on a bike and riding which is awesome new's as just 5 monthes ago Darren suffered one of the worse MTB crashes of the season.

To summarize he's on crutches, in very high spirits, has just begun riding a bike again, is still in Physiotherapy and is one year older!

A lot of people got hurt this year, but i'm glad to see that most of them seem to be healing back up.

He's a good guy. I remember just before this happened, he told me he was giving up hucking! Damn.

If you read these threads, congratulations on your birthday but more importantly congrats on the long recovery. It sounds like you are progressing very well. Keep up the battle!!

Happy B-Day Darren! And man did lot's of people get hurt this year ex: Simmons, Butler, Rasouli etc. Speaking of Rasouli, anyone have an update on him? pm me or make a thread if you do:D

thats wicked that hes getting better. Hes a super inspirational guy. Shows what can be done with enough will power. Hope he has happy trails this season.

Darren Butler rules. He is a great friend and a very strong individual. I have no doubts he will be rock'n it this summer!
