trail update 8/18/2005

Tom and the boys were working hard yesterday, with the rain it was a great chance to get some fixes in with dirt you could pack down
A-line is pretty buff now
Garb was a bit slippery on the rooty stuff, but everything else was okay
should be hella good today and tomorrow

As it seems to be shaping up to be sunny for a while, how long does garbanzo take to dry out abit?

Garb will suck up ANY moisture it can get, it was a dust bowl up there a week ago

Garb's in great shape. A-line is mint. The rock face on Captain Safety is uuuh.. well rideable if you don't mind your rear wheel going sideways and almost passing your front wheel on the way down.

Garb was in the best shape i`ve ever seen it in today, spent almost my entire time on it.....not slippery at all, just tacky....sweet. A-line was mint.....they really cleaned it up well. I was a little dissapointed that Dirt Merchant was closed.....major let down.....but as long as they make it as sweet as A-line I`ll be happy.

Side note, does anybody know what`s with those trails they`re biulding up on garb? One of them is going to have a pritty big drop.....they`ve biult a drop (it`s right by Caboose) that looks like a small road gap.....and it appears that it will flow into 2 or 3 large burms. Looks very impresive if you`ve seen it.

yup, new section of freight train....wonder if they'll open sidetrack soon?

The whole mountain was in amazing conditions. Was there from wednesday to friday, and it was amazing.
Garb is mint.
