Just the face of that cliff looks like 30+ feet.

How far down do you land?

Loopie
02-03-2003, 05:01 AM
53ft.

Loopie
02-03-2003, 05:02 AM
Give or take a couple.

Totally insane doesn't even describe that.

I wish I remember my physics - the speed at which you are moving when you hit has to be high.

I watched him.
it was rad!

but the 360 was kinda sketch :P

Pennywise
02-03-2003, 07:47 AM
he was in the air for 3.4 seconds or something close to that. you reach termanal velocity after 6 seconds right? that must've been quite a force when he hit...

when they show it in NWD2 it doesnt look nearly as big as it did in NWD. im not saying its small. 53ft is fucking gigantic. but i guess they shot at a weird angle and zoomed in and...yeah you get the point

Yo Jam Tart, lick me man. Bender goes big and all but there are better riders than him out there. I only just saw the clip from NWD2 and was wondering if someone else had tried it. No need to dump on someone for asking a simple question. It's not like I spend all my time watching every vid ever made. BTW, I'm not from pinkbike, so I'll take 1/2 of your sorry.

yah ... sorry d00d . i just think the whole big drop threads have just dried up and are pretty pointless ... people no longer want to go big and have realised style is where its at . but jaw drop IS huge .. anyone who does that i give props just for trying

Burnsie
02-03-2003, 08:02 PM
IT's not about going big man, the guy just wanted to know if anyone else tried it? Fuck everyone to his own, they all don't have to be askign about the style of riding you like.

Me and my girlfriend did it on a 1963 Schwinn tandem. Retrofitted a Psylo for the drop, cranked than U-turn to badass-120mm!!

I did it then I noticed my front wheel was out of true and some of
my spokes were loose so I tensioned em' up straightene'd my
derailleur hangar and landed it smooth.

Sure you guys can do the Jaw drop with your tricked out
Team Shore (http://www.norco.com/bikes/2003bikes/teamshore.htm)
But I did this sweet wheelie into an inverted 720, then landed doing a kick ass manual on
this (http://bokoobikes.com/site/itemdetails.cfm?ID=867&Catalog=39&sort=Price)
