I agree with blaine. Its hard to get goin 60 mph on a bike (need a super steeeeep hill) 80 is gettin close to the world record )107mph is the record)

Norman
02-03-2003, 03:52 PM
even 80 KM/H is kinda hard to believe. I've hit just over 60 km/h manual on a super steep hill and it was totally the most insane thing ever. and i don't know anyone over here that can manual as fast as i get going, although there are TONS of way better riders. manualing is the ONE thing i can do well. if roscofat can do it then props, but based on some of his other posts, i'd say the bullshit meter is pretty high. i know he's done diggers and thats sick. doing it no-footed? hmmmmm.

hmmm lets' see my goals for the season, these will all be on my hardtail since i won't be able to afford a big bike.

sprocket stall barspins
disaster stalls in the bowl
360's over a double
high speed manuals
race Mount 7 Psychosis from the summit on the hardtail and finish without dying
hit road gap in Invermere on the hardtail

and here's the other ones

Pay off my biking debt
get a fully working big bike again
do lots of roadtrips (Kamloops and Kelowna are a must)

Scott
02-03-2003, 05:52 PM
get used to 10 foot drops
do a 15 footer
no footers
manual at 55+mph(iv done 45mph)
nose manual at 40+mph
bigger gaps...over 25
skinner skinnies

243_ht
02-03-2003, 05:59 PM
-no handers
-no footers on big jumps
-nice flat tables
-aline rock drop
-get a dually as my second bike
-12 foot roof drop
-downhill racing (even if its on my hardtail cause i didn't buy a dualy yet)

my goals are to be able to.

Do Diggers Rock, Rose hill Road Gap, Table of Big Stump, Get far better at jumping. Be able to do 3 stars, no handers down A-line, And be able to do many other tricks. My main Goal has to be to get top 5 in the BC cup circut. sounds like a pretty big goal, but iam training for 2 hrs plus , 5 times a week, riding 3 days a week. and ill be at every single BC cup race, and a few Canada cup races. I also want to be able to do no footers of dragon schleyer drop. I think all of my goals are accomplishable, with enough dedication.

Yes, unfortunatley due to my "americanism" i have no chance of being good, so in my quest to show up Canucks I will have to hobble them before competition begins.

Anyways, here's my goals:
Win Canada Cup DH in Fernie (yeah right)
Win local DH again
Win local Mtn X (grr... some kid had gone to Dorado or some city just to get trained to race and he owned all of us, what a pussy)
Mad Style on my signature step down, and How's Rock.
Put together a video so you can all laugh at How
