i need help!!!

I am planning on going in B.C (coquitlam region) this summer to go and meet one of my friends and go ride the shore. i am from quebec so i don't know the laws in B.C. i want to stay there for about a month and was wondering.....can i sleep with my tent anywhere i want or i will get a ticket from the police??? ho by the way!!! anyone know how much time it takes from quebec to B.C with a car???

i know it takes about a week and a half if u stop every nite
and ther r certian places that u can tent up and they wont ticket u...but obivously u cant just do it on the side of the highway...

so the best thing would be to try my luck every night!!!! hahaha! i will have so many tickets :eek: i just hope i wont have to go in jail for 3 or 4 days because of this. lol it don't matter i like adventure and i like to take risks.

keerist... have u ever driven that far? not likely... even if u found a strait road the whole way u wouldn't make it that fast....

there are lots of hostels u could stay at for cheap...look into it, before u head out this far....

well hotels are of no concern to me because i want to save as much money as i can. i will only have 1500$ for my one month trip and might get part time job while i am there

well for sure i can stop a calgary, then i can stop at edmonton.... no seriously it's gonna take me too long to arrive at B.C this way. i want to make it a one shot deal. to have more time to go and ride the shore!!!:D :thepimp: and i prefer my tent because this way i sleep with my bike ( don't worry nothing horny during the night) so it doesn't get stollen.

like i said..i WILL NOT STAY IN A MOTEL!!! i will camp in my tent and 1500$ is after i pay the gas and trip to B.C so once i'm here i will have 1500$ left!! i will get a part time job though

Even a campsite costs money...it's not like you can pitch a tent on someone's lawn :rolleyes:

I'd suggest you contact Tourism BC 1-800-HELLO-BC, they should be able to send you a camping guide for BC, probably for free.

i calculated that with how much i eat and if i don't use camp sites i should be ok for the whole month!! but i will only see when i get there:D i just want to have fun and be back in quebec for summer for the quebec cup competitions

with 1500$ to spedn you'll be fine for a month...

p..s im not gunna suggest u could pitch a tent on the shore mtns and ride... but its a big area, and if u hid well, you wouldnt likely to get spoted... but u didnt hear it from me...haahahah

haha ok i wont tell anyone. i am mainly going to B.C for DH riding though. my bike is not good for urbain and shore riding but i wil definitly do a few shuttle runs in the shore trails:D

get a seasons pass and rip it up for a whole month everyday...

like i said..... my bike is a dh specific rig so i can't do everything i want with it. but i will try a few shore tracks and a little bit of urbain.
