so i went to the island to stay with some friends at UVic for the weekend. jeeez you guys got attitude. i was up in one of the dorm rooms and there were some kids on a campus urban. they were debating hitting a stair gap and i yelled down and said i'd do it if someone gave me a bike......they had no faith in me!!! i was hurt. cried myself to sleep.
no i just thought it was pretty funny. and for the record that gap was hittable if any of you are on here. its andrew that was yelin down at you from the third story window.
i'd be interested to know if any of those guys are from this board.

im not to familiar with the building names but its right near the cafe....and the residence hotle is in that block of buildings. i totally dont know the names of the buildings though.
the gap is nothing special at all

ive done that gap, its not that great. uVic isn't all that good for urban actually. Mala U up in Nanaimo owns it.

say what, u-vic is awsome fun, havnt seen this nanimo shit, but theres loads of lines to be had at u-vic.

uVic is too flat. yea there are some decent lines and all but not like mala U. its less than half the size of uVic in area, but its on the side of the mountain so its on a big slope with lots of stairs, ledges, that sort of thing. and its in close vicinity to mount benson trails and downtown nanaimo. i just really like riding nanaimo more than vic for the most part.

yea blaine speaks nothin but the truth.. having lived in nanaimo my whole life i was expecting big things from uvic.. all i can say is that im disappointed.. but i love vicwest that place rocks.

I've had the chanve to ride both, and Mal tends to have lots of stairs and stuff like that. I'd have to give the nod to Uvic as it has bigger manual lines and other technical challenges. There are a few real cool lines at Mal though.

I live in res at UVIC, I think I know the gap. It is pretty god damn weak if it is the one I am thinking of. In front of DT and behind the Housing Office?

yeah it is weak.....i was staying in margret newton with some friends and its like right outside the third story window right below it. it is pretty weak and if you went to far its to flat. but whatever. those kids seemed to be having fun.
im heading into cluster next september hopefully so you guys better build me some dirt jumps cause i dont wanna give up riding!!!!
