that looks cool, does that seattube look curved though? cant tell how long it is either. interesting they'd make an xc fs without being able to slam the seat down.

it only says that it can handle up to a 6inch single crown. On another but slightly related note, it also says that there will be several other bikes also introduced to the line up. It wasn't too long ago but does anybody remember when there was just one type of Banshee, the scream and it was almost as cool as the V10. And then when there were 2 types of banshees.

I thought that wasn't heavy in comparison to yourself.

Just to clear up a few things...
It will take up to a 6" single crown fork, not 7, but a 5" would be perfect, and it will build up between 25 to 30lbs... yes it's time to make Banshees light light light :trinity: . It's 5.5" of rear travel [similar to the Blur LT] and it has another color, titanium/black. More details will come, especially on the coolness of the virtual 4bar pivot... as soon as we can get one in Cams hands, I'm sure he'll be happy to give it a review for you guys.

I like the look of the pyre....what weight restrictions will it have?

The black with fox 36van forks, full X0, thompson x4 stem and seatpost, Race Face Atlas cranks....and the list goes on would be so sweet. Hey...uhhhh....if ya want a clyde to test one...just lemme know. ;)

25-30 lbs sounds light, but you could do that easily with any XC bike and parts, even with a heavy frame. Do you have a weight on the frame for us?

Yeah, they said the chap could could come in under 30 pounds too...hehe....and it can.

Don't have a frame weight yet... don't have a scale yet. Maybe I'll get O_o [Shin] to run into into the Save on Foods vegetable section with it. A floor scale just doesn't work for frame weights. I suppose we never needed a scale before cause we never cared... but I think we'll throw up frame weights of all our bikes now.

I'll just tuck it into my socks to sneak it in.

Looking forward to the Pyre.
It's been awhile since I clipped in and hammered uphill.

I like the paint, but would like it more if it ditched the USA colors and used Canadian flag colors.

Its a Canadian bike, let's be proud of that and use Canada's colors.

Call it what you want.

All I am saying is that Canadian colors on a Canadian bike would be more fitting.

Sorry, wasn't sure what you meant by weight restrictions... [u meant rider weights]... no there won't be any weight restrictions... does any other company have weight restrictions?
The bike will come in an XL size, and I checked with my 6'5" buddy to make sure we sized it really good for him, because he says a lot of the large sizes don't have long enough top tubes. It is an all-mountain bike so if your a clydesdale and are planning to use this as a jump bike, I would say pick something else. It's definitely suited for clipped in, pedal all day riding and if that's your intended use, then go crazy. Hope that helps!

I bet you had to google every one of those flags to be sure those colors were in them so you didn't make a fool of yourself.

Now you just look like a bored kid with nothing better to do. What's better?

I'm on Corey's side, I like everything but the colours.

No matter how many other countries share the same colours, red, white, and blue are always synonymous with the US (sadly for the countries listed above). Then again, at least it doesn't have stars and stripes in any colour.

Red and White for a Canadian bike would be much more appropriate.

. A floor scale just doesn't work for frame weights.

Sure it does. Step on it without the frame. Then step on it with the frame and subtract the two numbers. Floor scales are a lot more accurate above a certain weight so this is how ya do it

I think the colours are sweet!!

It's funny, I don't see any flags at all in the colours of that bike, I just see a bike, with a great contour paint job.

I think you people need to stop searching for such petty things to complain about.

Yeah, Intense, santa Cruz, Turner, Foes, and others have wieght restrictions...mostly for their XC bikes...but I got that I am too fat for that foes all mountain bike....they are scared of my weight and riding style...lol.

Yeah, I am not a dirt jumper or hucker....and am riding a dirtbag at the moment...looking for something a little lighter for more all mountain/XC days and love the vpp bikes...and if Banshee is gonna put one out...I am super interested, would rather support a Canadian Company than some of the other offerings out there. What is the projected launch of the bike?
