well the scream is getting old and im getting sick of the weight of it. im going to have to get a new frame next season, im looking for a short travel dulie preferebly in the 5-6 inch travel range. i dont have lotts of cash but whats a good quality dulie? i want something that can dirt jump a little, climb hill fairly well and do free ride/downhill
i was looking at the transition preston, any one have much experience with them? also i would like a norco six but do they come frame only?

I love the preston and dirtbag....solid bikes with a proven design backed up by a company with pretty good CS.

Other bikes I love:
Turner 6pack
SX Trail
Giant Reign
Iron Horse MKiii
Norco six
Santa Cruz nomad
Intense VPX

The Nomad is really doin it for me right now...but is just outa my price range, I would get the preston.

you can get a norco six frame and shock instead of a fully built one.

i was thinking the same, instead of building a frame with pivots and a shock i figure i can get the same amount of travel from flex so i'm gonna build a frame out of wood.

Go for the specilized sx, i rented one from evoloution and that is one seriously fun bike. Very agile and super nice in the air, enough travel to ride trails and stuff, but killer geo for the jumps and tricks and stuff. It is like the perfect slopestyle style bike, can totally do everything.

No, I ride a 03 dirtbag in the 5inch setting....kinda wishing I bought a preston. But I got a hella deal on it.

I sent an Email to Kevin last week...still had not heard back from him, nothing with the bike just some inquiries...not happy about that. Not the first time this has happened. But when I bought my bike they were great.

The SX is hella expensive from the looking I have done and the preston with romic will be around $959us.

dylan, I think youd love a six for around here. you might think about putting together a vid and submitting it to norco..I bet you could get a frame pretty cheap that way ..sort of the grassroots sponsor package ..ask your local norco dealer..
