I'm right handed. I write with my right hand, eat with my right hand, shake the unit with the right... everything's right. Yet my right foot seems determined to buck the trend. I keep trying to ride right foot forward, and somehow end up switching to left. Same thing happens when I snowboard, I find myself riding goofy more often than regular.
Anyone else find their legs and hands reversed for preference?

Goofy is right foot forward.

I ride with my left foot forward too.
Write with right, kick with right, shoot left in hockey, bat left, golf right, eat right, snowboard left forward, skate left forward, throw right...i am kinda messed up.

I don't think that there is necessarily a connection between which hand is dominant and which foot is dominant.

I keep trying to ride right foot forward,
why?
but yeah, to your Q I'm right handed and ride L foot forward. I think that's pretty common. it's like hockey sticks - your hand dominance doesn't necesarrily determine your shooting preferance.

I'm right handed and footed, but i ride left foot forward. It just feels better, so I do it.

I'm righthanded but shoot, golf, skate regular and swing leftie but unremarkably I ride right foot-forward. A friend who is in sorts medicine once told me that she thought it might have something to do with my left eye being more dominant and therefore doing more of the work when it came to depth perception and accuracy. Who knows if that theory is true so long as it all gets done.

Because my right foot is my power foot, so if I need to pedal kick or pull the front wheel up I have it in the right position. But for coasting along I'm more comfortable left forward.

I am the exact same as your. completely right handed for everything, goofy for snowboarding and skateboarding and I ride left foot forward for biking. Dont try to switch things up. Ride what ever makes you feel more comfortable.

I'm the same in every way. I have fully trained myself to use either foot as the chocolate foot cause on the shore you just can't afford the choice sometimes and the circumstances of your pedalling determine which foot is forwards. I think it's a habit thing and any of us could most likely train ourselves to do the same activity with the other foot/hand in about a month...

haha when I saw Hans Rey on the weekend I was totally thinking about my Chocolate Foot. He was talking about it in some 90s riding video.
I do everything right, and ride left forward. I can barely hop or anything right forward, definetly something to work on. I also prefer wallrides on my drive side.

I am right handed and ride right foot forward, but I have been training myself to ride left foot forward, so I'm nearly as good left foot forward.

I'm right handed, but ride with my left foot forward. I'm also goofy-footed, and have a left-hand hockey/golf swing. (swing from left to right, right hand higher, left lowwer)
obviously nothing is linked with me. :S
I'm happy....

it would make sense considering that your left foot would have a 1/4 crank turn of power before your right (Power foot) gets to have a 1/2 crank turn of power.
I ride left foot forward (Not goofy) and am right handed.
Wow. I had no idea that right foot forward was goofy.
I'm right handed and right footed and have always ridden right foot forward . I skate and snowboard with my right foot in front too. My power stroke (wheely drop) is right foot as well.
Who are you calling goofy?

Man, I'd give my right arm to be ambidextrous.

dominant foot back, makes sence if you think about it. left foot forward, right back, means that you have you strong foot in a position to deliver power when needed. also the foot in the rear tends to grip the peddle easier when you need to hop your bike (OK I suck at falt peddles, give me a brake). just because it's not in the lead doen't mean it's not in a position to do the most work.

How about your genitals to be asexual?
