Step Down

Well Brian got off his lazy rump and built a step down, as well as a dirt jump, ALL ON HIS LONESOME! and mr pipe.

Well this step down is a decent size, but nothing flashy, 10 foot drop, 15 gap, or even smaller, but the only thing is, I SUCK AT JUDGING SPEED.. If i go to fast, i'll miss the short steep tranny i buetifully crafted, and end up landed like a 15 foot drop to flat, if i goto slow, i'll case hard, and the landing protrudes like 3 feet outta the ground. I didn't pussy out, i just need to bleed my brakes properly, i'll hit her on monday, or tuesday, whenever i get around to doing it.

Any tips? If not, im just gonna blast off her.:)

I'll get my mom to take a picture haha. My mom says im the best, but she also said im cool, and that kid at my school always beats me up and says im a fag, so i dunno about my mom these days.:(

Just hit it with what speed you need. Judging speed comes from doing it more and more.

Nah, im just gonna hit it at the speed i do everything at, that nice comfy speed, i'd rather go to fast, and pump the bike into the tranny.

PS: mike since ur not on msn, me and alden are gonna fix up ian's old jumps that had that wooden drop in ramp, it's gonna be sick, im gonna talk alden into pulling a back flip!

Just use your judgement skills from DJing. But don't be brain dead before u hit it, I did that before i did a 15/20, and i bagged and ended up sacking me self HARD!!!! Just do it when it feels right. There's no rush! It's only winter! haha

For some reason...I don't find that the least bit funny.
Steve doesn't do shit for the camera. He does it for himself.
We were riding Rose...just Steve and I, and we went off lookin for drops off the Bluffs....he wanted to go for this 30-35 footer....but he had a blown Romic and I talked him into waiting for a proper bike setup and a camera:)....
I think Steve is starting to realize the marketing potenial of film, but he DEFINITELY rides for himself...no-one else.

Well a 15 foot gap isnt that much so you dont need that much speed.
Its hard to tell someone how much speed things need.
Maybe 6th gear on the back if your using a 38tooth chainring on the front?

Anything under 30 is pretty easy to judge. Anything over gets a little weird.
