People get hurt on jumps at whistler because they think they are within their ability...that gap is HUGE and nobody is going to hit that without knowing the risk involved.

There is a huge difference between dirt merchant jumps and a 45' stepdown gapper...

Thats a good point, that one is obviously massive, no ones gonna hit it without looking.

and the hit before it looks rather difficult too. that probably makes alot of people stay away.

There's so many drops / jumps at that place that seem to have flat landing or short snipe landings that aren't steep e-nuff an-e-wayze. But maybe it's just an illusion from the vid.

lol why open that 2 the public thats a lawsuit waiting 2 happen. Look how many people get hurt on the small jumps at whistler...i made a 25 foot ravine gap this summer are on the day it was scheduled to have finishing touches, a bobcat (the amchine) met me there and i had to sit there and watch not only my gap get torn down, but also a little dirt jump park that has been there for as long as i can remember.

all because some old retired teacher was walking his dog and saw me building this gap that looked dangerous and it was labelled "vandalism"...in some big meadow, there aren't even any signs

45'?

So the truck would be like 38' long and the rider would be like 11' tall?

That's huge!

I bet their waiver is even bigger.

Your right, I know for sure that a Ford Super duty is not 40' long, Realistically that gap is 30-35ft.

Its called perspective...that truck is a lot closer to the cam then the main part of the gap and the rider hitting it. Look a the bike by the table in the foreground, then look as the size of the bike the riders using. Its hard to judge from the angle.
