I saw this French guy on a Nomad w/36 bust down that hairy righthander on Goat's Gully then bust huge off the side of that bridge right after it. Props. super stylish.
On a side note if you haven't ridden In Deep to Fatcrobat you are missing out, super fun, Looooooong log rides, at whatever speed you can handle. I will be sure to hit it again Sunday, B4 or after my Enduro Run. (prays that the bb7 stays happy)

Best run on the mountain:
Upper Freight train - Original Sin - Goat's Gully - Captain Safety - In Deep - Fatcrobat - road - D1 - Dirt Merchant - either Lower A-line to Boneyard or World Cup to Crack Addict to Heart of Darkness or Boneyard.
Most variety possible... MMmmmm.

Captain Safety is pretty short - mainly a big off camber rock face - you can hook back up to Factrobat via In Deep.
And D1 - what a coooool trail. Haven't got it close to dialed yet, but awesome, awesome, awesome!
anyone know of any pics of D1 ?

They reconnect, In Deep keeps going after Safety is done. That big rock face scared the crap out of me :P

It's just a bit smaller than the clownshoes rock face but it's in an L shape so you can't let go of the brakes until you turn.

The video on the front page of the NSMB airprentice has a helmet cam run of the trail in it. its pretty dope. the trail is really dusty right now though.

The captain safety rockface is easily two times as long as the one on clownshoes though....

Haven't been to Whistler in a few years riding. Where's the MTB version of Goats Gulley?
Only know the skier version under the Orange chair.

Same general area as the ski run under the Orange, but in the trees. Follow Original Sin and it takes you there. I find it to be one of the more gnarly runs up there, but the reward is when you hit Fatcrobat or In Deep.
cheers

I thought so. Have to ride it when I move back in a year and half.
