Best day of riding this summer yet.
Sometimes you luck out and an exceptional session of riding just happens.
Tonight by some freak chance I managed managed to get in 6 runs of Burnaby mountain. Did three shuttles from 3:30-5:00, stopped at the pub ate nachos, drank some water, then hooked up with some more riders to do three more runs before heading back to that same pub for beer and burgers. To top it off, some of the beer was free. Comp deals from the management as so many riders show up each week for this Thursday night pub/ride.
30 degrees, tons of sun and perfectly dry trails.
6 runs, an absolutely epic day. Gotta love it when this sorta shit comes your way.
Gonna get two runs of Seymour in tomorrow too...finally managing to get some riding in this summer. Good times indeed.

My best day will be next sunday....leaving town after work to drive to Whistler, sleep in the car saturday night, and riding all day sunday, then back to PG

i got in a fun run on fromme today, climbed up from mill to pipeline in about 30mins on my 50lbs dh pig and I felt like I was gonna die but then going down was amazing. Just slayed pipeline and did skull after, I took a left though when I should have taken a right and was going along this like old creekbed that was almost totally overgrown then I almost went off of a 5 foot concrete retaining wall onto a flat road. It was super fun though.

aw shit, sorry Judy. Tape that broken finger to the other one and just load up on the Tylenol?

If its any consolation, Olly was too bagged to do two runs today, (and for that matter so was i). We just hung out at the coffee shop on Seymour and ogled women wearing lovely and stylish and um...skimpy...summer ensembles.
