A few weeks back one of my buddys decided to stop off at a store to pick up a 50cent pop, he went in and left his buddy and his bike outside, by the time he had got back, his bike was gone, all in under 2 minuets. So last night a bunch of my buddys are riding down #3Rd, and they see this Homeless person sitting on my friends bike, and one of the guys goes up to him and says
'Hey, you wanna sell that bike"
the Thief replied "ill sell it to you for 2000, i origionaly paid 6000(keep in mind this is an 03 stinky)"
Than one of the guys said
"#$## you thats not your bike"
And the thief starts taking off down 3 road, as another kid in the group Dials 911. as he crosses the street my friends decide to go all vigilanti, and they drop what there holding and just start pinning it after this guy, one of the kids got up beside of him and just litteraly kicked the thief off of the bike, and by the time the guy on the phone got there, all that he saw was my buddy holding the bike and the Thief picking him self up off the ground and booking it away.

i just thought it was a cool story, Always be on the lookout for shady characters on nice bikes, and if your bike has got stolen, never stop looking cause eventualy it will turn up :)

Mmm... Hope the operator didn't catch all the "justice" being dished out in the background.

Awesome to hear your buddy got his pride and joy back. :)

Doesn't he have that orgasmic VP-Free now?

If he originally left it outside the store with a buddy, how did it get stolen in the first place?

I would be as mad at the buddy that was supposed to be watching the bike as at the thief.

but u also said that the guy looked away for a second and when he looked back he couldn't see the thief, so how did he know it was him. even if he was there.

yeah the story changes from person to person, so i am just going by the most logical parts i have heard, obvioulsy the guy wasnt gone long gone, but he was probly to far to catch..

So buddies bike gets ripped off and they see some dirtbag sitting on it. They chase him down knock him off the bike then let him run away but keep the bike. Sounds like they were alot kinder than I would have been if I found some idiot sitting on my stolen bike. Yet everyone here is giving the guy a hard time about how does he know if it was the original guy who stole it, how could his friend have seen who the guy was. WHO CARES? He is telling a story that he heard second hand. Do you think he has all the exact details? The main point is someones bike got ripped off by some piece of crap dirtbag and he got it back.

Didn't you read the post? They kicked the guy he fell off his bike and ran away. How is that beating someone up?
If you are out there riding around on a stolen bike and all you get is someone making you crash then I'd say you got off pretty lucky. I think there are alot of people out there that would have done worse than make the guy crash. Props to the guy for being able to restrain himself.
