Anyone run a helmet cam? If so what are you running? What type of camcorder are you running with it? Any tips or tricks?

I just got my cam today from Bullet Cams. Seems to work well. Came with everything you need including mounting hardware, extra lenses, battery back etc. Unfortunatly my LANC remote is on back order but should be here in a week or so.

I am running a Sony Handycam DCR-HC32 for a camcorder. All I need now is a hardcase to put everything in so it doesn't get trashed.

Anyone know of any decent (preferably free) site to host video's?

Can't wait till this weekend where i can put it through its paces at either Silver Star or Sun Peaks!

this is a crazy drag race they put on in nyc. looks quite dangerous and i think the guy in the very beginning is smoking something illegal.

but then if you check out the guys webpage at http://www.digave.com/videos/how.htm
he basically gives it all about his set up. all be it, mainly road riding, he does have some good tips!

Thats a pretty wicked vid. I couldn't imagine ripping down those busy streets like that and not getting killed.

Buddy looks like he uses full on camcorders strapped to his head. That could get spendy if you bail.
