I'm trying to get up there from Seattle on a train. I can take a train to Vancouver, but now don't know if any passenger trains pass through Whistler. If so, which railways? Thanks.

There's always the bus from the train station. I have never seen a passenger train going on that track. www.greyhound.ca I think...

Don't know if it is still happening, but for years and years it was BC Rail Bud cars from North Vancouver to Prince George, right through Whistler, dropping you off at Creekside/ Alpha Lake Park or Mons. Check with them.

I've decided not to take my bike. Bus seems like the only way.

the rail service will be back. just wait till round 2010. with the whole world watching, BC won't want to be seen as freakish by not having a passenger rail service to Whistler. seriously, train or bus. which one would you rather travel on??? seems to be a no brainer.
