Riding buddies wanted (shore/Vancouver)- New Zealander on 2 wk vacation

I'm going to be in vancouver from the 4th to the 18th of august and I'm keen on visiting the shore a few times - but not so keen on riding by myself. I'm not super fit or all that brave (when it comes to tall skinnies etc) but hoping some friendly locals might be able to show me around some fun trails.
