I'm thinking about selling my bike, but I thought I should talk to some of you guys before I do anything serious. I don't get to ride at all from September until June, and from June to September I'm working seven days a week, all day. I'd still ride, but I just wouldn't have my prized gold Bullit anymore.

What are some pros and cons of this? I need outside opinions. I'm just discovering an expensive addiction to cameras...

you wont get anywhere near what your bike is worth by selling it.

keep it an you never kow what might change or happen

I just sold one of mine and partially regret it. If I didnt have a bike for even a just in case rip around somewhere let alone an actual ride, I'd be quite unhappy with myself. Does the bullit suit your needs? Maybe trade it up for an all mtn lower travel bike that'll still be fun and cushy and then you could ride it in more places which could get you out more. Just some change.

I sold mine thinking I could use the money. I did use the money, however I got these urges to ride again. Unfortunately my situation changed and I have little to no expendable income now. I've been building a budget hardtail for the past year and a bit only now getting it close to being done.

I say if money is an issue, sell your Bullit and get a cheap hardtail or cheap dually. Either way it's a horrible feeling wanting to ride and having no options to do so.

Alright, I'm not selling it. I think my job will be enough, and after sleeping on the idea, the thought of not having my Bullit was sickening. Thank you all.
