Why?? What are you doing with them?
I got a factory custom painted Wooly Bully, thanks to Hugo. It was all steel and they even welded a custom disc brake mount on the rear swingarm... this was when the first came out with discs for bikes and the rest of the WB didn't come with mounts. They only made 3 bikes then... the Bobynom, NR, and Wooly.
Oh and I have a 1st gen BB7. Gerome was a great designer and really came out with ground breaking stuff... that's why I was such a fan.
The bikes aren't spanky new, tho.
You can always PM me.
i have a new never riden 2 step from 2004, green it had the swiss cheese gussets on the headtube.

Hi guys,
we have a few 2004 frames already im affraid although i would be interested to see the Swiss Cheese gusset if you can get a picture to me?
Terrorfirma - the frames are to go on the wall and make a sort of timeline from across the ages. I dont expect people to give away there frames and of course will cover any postage costs incurred - its mainly to see if anyone out there has some old frames they dont use and are willing to part with.
The frames arent going to be used so condition isnt really important, its mainly to keep the heritage alive and to remind us where it all started.
We are working with Jerome on the new stuff but sometimes its good to look back at an old frame and draw some inspiration from it, the only problem is that when Pro-Cycle bought Balfa most of the older stuff was binned so there wasnt any left when i came up with the idea - shame really but it just means ive gotta search for it.
Any help is appreciated and if anyone has something they want to part with please mail me some pics and we can talk.
Regards
Jamie @ Balfa

I remember the NR. I was one of the first true full on DH bikes I had ever seen. I loved it. I was Huuuuuuuuuuuge.

I remember taking the Neuveau Riche out for a couple runs on Ned's. What a crazy bike. It made a V10 feel like an 5" travel all-mountain bike. It weighed in excess of 55-60lbs.

You don't want to have one to ride, 'cause they are shitty bikes. Nice to look at hanging off a wall, but WAY too much bike all around. The BB7 was better in every aspect and still isn't up to the V10 standards.

Yeah they arent to ride as its a beast of a bike.
Just to hang and look at (if it doesnt pull the wall down)
If anyone see's one for sale then let me know if its on the web
Thanks

I see them pop up on MTBR sometimes...none there now though.
I know my friend's old roomie had a Wooly in his closet. I think he still rode it, and I don't know where he is now.
Wheel Goods in Stratford, ON Canada (519-273-2001) had a set of Balfa armour in stock FOREVER...I doubt it's gone. It was purple and looked like a sweater with some pads on it. I haven't been in that shop for a year or more though, but it might be worth a phone call to snag some mint armour.

It's at least four! years old, looks like it has never been updated, and they don't seem to have thier own space. Seems to be a geocities one. It's a mom and pop shop for sure.

It is still open though...my mom brought her cruiser in for a flat change the other day.
