hey
if anyone can point me into the right direction for a good ride let me know. It's been a while, so i'm not looking for one of LeeLau's nasty death rides...yet. Also if anyone wants to go along on said ride let me know. I broke my other bike, so it's time to remmeber how fun xc is. I've heard that squamish is fun.

cool...but i'm thinking a small group would be more fun. and i don't wanna pay to ride with a group either...not that i'm against it, but this is just an exploritory mission to get back into riding. I've been on shop rides and they end up being races to see who's fastest ect.
put me off pretty quick
I'm going to Squamish for some xc the weekend after this one - probably the Gearjammer course, just to see what it's like. You can come if you like, I'm far from being an xc racer.
If you want a shorter ride, find a map of the Test of Metal course and just ride the first part. It isn't that long, and has some really fun trails - Rob's Corners and RollerCoaster are great, and you can start and finish in Alice Lake. The second half has some good trails too but I haven't figured out any shorter loops yet. Crumpit Woods would probably be fun to check out, and I like the Plunge.
Those are the only ones I know right now. When I go up next weekend I'm taking the map from the Gearjammer website.
