hey I hear it is pretty packed on thursdays whats the good word?

It's packed on Thursday's because it is the club's 'locals night' (they all have their own nights). You have to get there early, otherwise up end waiting outside for ages in what can be described as a semi-circle line up free-for-all... unless of course you 'know' someone or you bribe the bouncers.

The other busy locals nights are:

Monday - Tommy Africas
Tuesday - Savage Beagle
Wednesday - Buffalo Bills
Thursday - Garfinkles

Slip Dave the bouncer a $20 in the secret handshake, and you plus 3 friends will jump the line.

It doesn't matter if you are a local or not the bouncers are not cool regardless of whether the bar is full or not. A few weeks ago I asked if the bar was really that full to make the line wait as long as it was, the bouncer told me to go in and check it out. The bar was like half full and they were making people wait for over an hour. I have been in whistler for many years and been treated the worst by the bouncers at Garf's. I will not got there again

Do yourself a favor and go to one of the better locally owned bars like tommy's, bill's or Moe joe's and have a great night. On a weekend it doesn't matter where you go all the bars are good times

Flip side to that is you go to MoJo's and get the "local" attitude. Don't say it doesn't exist, either.

bitchin' soul kitchen sunday nights at tommy's....or almost any night at the GLC.....the glc tends to be our bar of choice on weekends, cause top 40, hip hop, r&b at every other bar sucks mega ass.....
