The latest news is that the carpet next to the jump farm will be opening this weekend (saturday). It has been fixed and it's great timing with the hot weather.

Yea!

I was thinking they weren't going to open it, and were just using it as a tease. Excited!

Can we ride up it, or do we have to be stationary while on the carpet?

Oh yea...will the carpet be only open on weekends? Or all the time?

my guess is that it will be open all of the time and you will be allowed to walk up it but not ride seeing as how it is like 4 feet in the air.

Dont expect the carpet to last too long.....ever go down a metal play ground slide in shorts?

thats what the conveyor will be trying to do all day.....ouch.....

Yea, with no snow to lube things up. That's a good point.

The carpet runs on a hard low friction plastic layer but they did talk about running water under the carpet.

basically a conveyor belt to take rider (in the summer) to the top of the jump farm.

It looks like this, apart from the fact that it usually has a snow pack covering it, so it is actually a few feet of the ground in the summer.
