I would like comment on the 2005 frames. I would like to know how many lbs should I take for the rear spring [it's a dhx 5.0] (could you tell me what's the stroke btw) what's the size of the seat post and finally does a medium size would fit me, i'm 5'11'' approximetly. Thanks

Yep, tell us your weight (lbs) and someone here will let ya know. And size of the seatpost? As in its width? That would probally be somewhere on rocky mountains website.

damn sorry for all the confusion guys, I weight 170lbs, yes I talk about the rear spring and I try to find the size of the seatpost but ...

I think it's a 30. somethin for sure. I cut mine so I can't remember the numbers. And Meduim should fit you. I"m 6'3 and I ride a large.

When I bought my bike I emailed the manufacturer asking for my size what spring rate they recomend as well I emailed the maker of the rear shock and asked the same question. They both came back with the same answer...so it worked out. I would send off a few emails and see what they say.

I'm 5'11 and about 225. I have a 500lb psring on mine. It seems to be behaving the way it should. But i dont really know anybetter.
