Those are pretty sweet - says the plate kits are available for purchase Sept 1. When are the bodies supposed to be up for grabs

I'm happy with my Mallets, but I don't know if the platform pedal needs to be redesigned like the 50/50s seem to be.

it says that with the XX(sealed bearings), you get the "long" pins instaled, but extra "short" pins. there are 18 pins per pedal, but 36 placing options. so you could have 18 pins per face! 36 per pedal, aranging the "long" and "short" pins.
thats pretty sweet. anyone know how much/when there coming?

The nice thing about crank bros. pedals is the cartridge bearings, it costs something like $13 per pedal for new bearings.

A courier I know who rides 3-4 hours a day on Crank Bros. replaces his eggbeater bearings about every 6 months, which means they should last many years with normal use.
