X type bb with evolve dh crank question?

Hey guys i was riding around on my 2 week old faith 2 today and i heard a creaking noise coming from the cranksand i would like to know what it might be and how i go about fixing it?

have u checked your bikes bolts for tightness since buying it ??

its pretty normal for ALL your bikes parts to "bed-in" after your first few initial rides...

grab your Allen keys and go check for loose bolts..or take your new bike to your LBS adn have em give it a once-over...

If you tighten everything and it still creaks, you can try taking the bb out and cleaning and greasing the threads. Works wonders for getting rid of noises.

Check your chainring bolts.

I also have had problems with the same Crankset. Mine's about three months old. I have some resistance when spinning the cranks backward, apparently due to bearing problems in the BB. This set also creaks, I have tightened the cranks, pedals and chainrings with no luck.
