View Full Version : Mt. Fromme - Pipeline...
Props to whoever is doing work on Pipeline. that trail is looking great with all the new rockwork and drainage is improved. well done. that's one of my favorite trails now. that rock roller kicks ass. passed a number of peeps on my way down it - sorry if i didn't stop or say anything but i was rippin' like a freight-train today. i did 7th-leopard-crinkum then back up to UOC and then pipeline - beautiful day and outstanding conditions on all trails :)

your missing, out leaopard and Krinkem are the best part.

ok ill have to try them somtime...

Yeah it's one trail and while I would not say it's better than Ladies, it's a differnt type of ride. Leopard is more of a fun XC ride, while Crinkum is rated single black diamond, and it has a nice series of ramps which you should enjoy and a few small 3-4 foot hucks you can do, if, unlike me ( ), you have the necessary skillz.
It eventually drops you out at the bottom of the big washout you can see off the third swithback and into the top of Upper Griffin just below the first switch back. You will then end up at McNair/Hoskins or back at the top of Highway depending on your route lower down.

same here, i never found leopard to be much fun - maybe on a nice light xc bike
the best thing to do is ride leopard then cut over to the access road and ride up and hit pipeline.

huh yea i dont really like XC trails my bike is like 50 pounds so its not that fun...
i normally take the log ride out and go hit ladies or pipeline then lower ladies..
Leopard is all about the pump and pedal, when you have it going its a sweet trail

the best trail IMO for pump and no pedal is frank's on burke - my goal is to do the whole thing up to the first log ride without dabbing
havnt ridden it and now I want to. I love pumping through singletrack. Begining of platinum when its dry is sweet that way
