While floating in the lake, look west and up. (not kidding, it's just about as easy as that.)

When you are on your way up to Cultus Lake, you will turn off the highway heading south on Vedder Road. About 4km along (don't turn anywhere) and you will pass Thomas Road (look for the McD's with a Dairy Queen across the street. Turn left here and you can pop into Jack's Cycle. They have maps of all the sweet Vedder Mountain trails. These maps were produced by a bunch of dudes doing gps mapping for the Vedder Mountain Trails Association (of which I am president) and this info was passed on to Rob Friesen at Jack's Cycle who subsequently put a biker friendly version together. Once you find your way up to Vedder Mountain, most of the main trails on the map are signed and easy to find.
I would normally be happy to show you the way but I am still nursing my smashed back and have not yet resumed riding my big bike. If you go on the weekend there will be tons of bro's there that can also direct you.
Happy Trails.......
