True true, almost missed him there. He was riding solid and stylin it up. He had all the tricks but no 360s or back flips and that definitely helped the score. Ahhh, shit, can't remember it all...big time hang over from the night before :dizzy: He definitely represented!! He road this crazy step up and down north shore ladder thing just as nice as the Kid.

Carlin Dunne was the only one to take the big drop but others would have hit it if you didn't miss other obstacles. Still big 30+

Its surprising to see Cedric down at 14th and a couple of new Euro names in the top 10. I like change.

Anyone know if there's footage or a small clip in the works?

Nope, but that's about the only think he didn't do. After that step up n down that cam got the shot off (which actually looked a little more intense there) he went over to this box which was angled down hill on a super steep section and nailed a clean 360 drop, and in both final runs. His DJ line was fat 360 table, then superman seatgrab and no foot can can I'm pretty sure.

Cedric may have partied a bit much but slopestyles are becoming more and more full of tricks. Cedric tried a backflip off the dirt spine but no chance. The norway guys you'll definitely be hearing more of and Hunter should have moved on to the finals too.

Cameras were everywhere so I'd say there will be something up soon.

Kyle strait had bike problems like them breaking.

Gulley and Thomas had a basically the same line and I guess Gulley had bit more on the Dirt Jumps.

I'm in norway right now for a month, and that guy trond is considered the best rider here, ive seen some vids of him, he throws down hard.

Congrats to the guys who one and broke through too.

Pretty sick aaron got 2nd, either the course must of been super tech or he must of steped up his burly moves. props to him.

He was even riding a Chase Fully 8) and he dropped the drops, was the only guy to fit in a nice wallride and then 360 out of the curved wall that was laying on the ground so it was sort of a little half bowl, then he managed to flip everything with style, yeah 4 flips. He was having a BLast!!

The event was great.

Kyle Strait wrecked his bike in qualifying, Gracia looked out of shape but the dirt contest with Cameron Mc Caul ripping it up and the for me unknown Trond Hansen (and he is a very relaxed guy to hang too). Good show.

The transfer of the finals to sunday instead of saterdays was a good choose, man we had some fine weather on sunday. The judges had a hard time untill Darren sticked his second run. There was no doubt that he was the winner.

Here a shot I made on the forlast dirt in his final run (i'm not that good at photoshopping sequences, so sorry for that)

That post read like one of those SPAM emails I get with a bunch of random words strung together.

Except they make more sense.

The event rocked. I made the drive up and Cam and I got some riding in, and lots of beer was consumed, plus more than a few RBVs. Gareth designed a wicked course, the riders were stoked, and the riding was high level. Austria has fired a nice little salvo over at Whistler as if to say "vee know sometheeng about emteebee, and can put on our own keeckass eevents."

Anyone that gets a chance to go to Austria, any time of the year, do not hesitate. It is incredibly beautiful, the terrain is on par with the rockies, the people are super friendly and party like it's their last night to live. If it weren't for the accents and styled-out mullets, you would think you were in Whistler on the eve of opening day.

I recall reading somewhere that he doesn't really favour backflips and that he likes superman seat grabs, tailwhips and spins better, It's true I guess, He rarely does backflips on videos...
Anyways this information is irrelevant, wouldn't it be more like if he could backflip a mountain bike he could flip a BMX seeing how flips on MTB's are likely harder?

Carlin's drop looks as big as it was, but I'd say alot of the others would have hit it too but it took you down a line that didn't have much built.

check it out though, the vids are good.

Oh, on what Pete said there, Saalbach is like Whistler but still missing the trails.

What he said about the beer was Bang on though!!

do you think? It was definitely a step outside conservative...

BUT I think the BAlls part should have been bigger than the Penis because it kinda looks like a Big Penis award?

Pete and I were sitting on the patio in front of this nice quaint littlee hotel with a couple of friends with Rocky who had missed the awards. They hadn't seen the trophies so I scrolled through my shots on my Canon until I came to a shot of the Big Balls award.

Ed from rocky takes a look into the camera and says "that's a huge cock!" It was totally spontaneous and really loud and you should have seen the looks on the faces of the nice, conservative folks next to us. We all began to laugh and didn't finish until we had tears in our eyes.

Of course it might have been post traumatic stress from all the drinking but we all thought it was hilarious imagining what they were imagining was on my camera.

Cory - It was great to finally meet you over there. If I can make it for Nuremburg I'll be there. I'm bringing a spare liver this time though.

Man that's really reaching... He's a guy, I'm sure he's had a penis in his hand before, especially for trying to urinate or for bathing purposes... This calls for a smiley:
