228 bus :dizzy: from Lonsdale Quay
Drops you about 6 blocks south-east of the gate (10 mins ride)
Or 210 from West Georgia, that one will take you within spitting distance of the gate
turn left ant Mountain hwy....look up and cry.
Jezz I nearly wet myself ...... funny .......
If you are coming from the Quay I presume you are coming over on the Sea Bus from downtown. If you are, then don’t, use the 210, it's definitely your best bet. It starts outside Burrard station and check out the TransLink web site to see which buses have the bike racks, as not all do and which streets it runs on. You can even download a map showing the route. .Go here, here and here:

If you ain’t coming over on the Sea Bus then 228 to just past the Lynn valley mall (on right as you go up) and get off at the Lynn Valley Mountain Hwy intersection, get off on south east corner (assume Mountain Hwy goes north) by hair dresser/antiques store and then cry or take the 210 (from the north east corner opposite the Petro Canada Gas Station) to the top.

thanks for the directions guys. we got up there to 7th secret fine, needless to say we got lost on the actual mountain. my buddy went ahead past a fork after i had wiped out. of course, i went the other direction, and we had a hell of a time getting back together. luckily some helpful hikers gave me directions back to mountain highway and i was able to meet him at 24th and mountain hwy. it was overall a good exerience
