Hornby island

is there any trails there, apparently i am going camping there soon and was wondering if it was all xc ish, or if there is more freeride style trails?

Horby is a ton of fun, lats of xc'ish trails...some are on private property though. I dunno if the shop is still running in the summer...here is the info that I have for it:

hornby has awesome trails, mainly xc-ish though. fun stuff

Yo Ryan, Hornby is the shit, I have a place up there and im there atleast a few times in the year, the mountain is called mount geoffrey, its not big and you have to climb it, its mostly singletrack and xc but, they have one awesome trail caleed YOUR MOM, its the only freeride trail, they have lots of ladders and ladder drops, 4-8 feet usually, it has some jumps, burms, stepdowns, a long ride to skinny to 10 foot drop and some other kool stuf including a small road gap thats about 12 foot gap and super duper fun, have fun up there

yea they do have tons of fast single track, good for filming, i recomend a trail called 4 dead aliens, its sweet

I think that's why its stays so love-able (eg no crowds on Tribune Bay or Whaling Station). 3 ferries puts off enough people to keep the place sane - for now. D.

hornby has som sweet trails, they are pretty much all XCish but they arebuff and smooth. Very flowy. And itll takeyou about 15 minutes to pedal a big bike to the top of the hill. 8)

You guys all forgot to mention the vast amount of quality and cheap chronic, the beach parties everynight, and the fact there are no cops on the island, ryan if your up while im up, come over to my house for a bon fire
