I haven't been riding too much since I broke my leg 2 years ago. Heck, I haven't even been trolling the boards too often either. I think I hit an all time low this past spring when I contemplated selling either my BigHit or .243 or Brodie to make more space in my storage room.

That's when my buddy stepped in and said "we're going to Fromme, whether or not you want to". It took a couple of weeks to coordinate, between work, travel, kids, etc. But this morning, we did it. It was my first ride on Fromme in 3 years. It was awesome. The ride up wasn't as bad as I had remembered, and riding down 7th Secret/CC brought back awesome memories.

I don't want to take up too much space but I just wanted to say thanks to everyone who's helped shape the mtn bike scene in NV, and all the trail-builders and maintainers for their work.

Finally back in the saddle, hope you had a great ride Jonn. I know I'm looking forward to the Doc saying I can ride again. Our life styles change so much with family, work and kids, it gets really hard to make the time to ride, but it's gotta be done.

How the hell did you get the U-Lock off this time to go for your first ride on Fromme.

On a somewhat related note, thanks to whoever put in the new ladder on CC, covering up the eroded, rooty drop. It flows beautifully into the last ladder in that section now.
