Got this off www.northshorefreeriders.com

As for RIP.tv - We are sick of dealing with the idiotic tv industry and advertisers that don't know how to reach young people because no one watches the television. I am gathering video content produced by ourselves and producers like us to build a full schedule that is all action sport focussed starting with MTB. I'm looking for stuff like athlete profiles, company profiles, films, tv series', winning Race runs, teasers... etc.
Instead of hosting your own teasers you should just send them over to us to burden the cost. We will link back to you when you have hot stories on the site(s). If everyone's coming to see teasers and video content through us then you'll get massive traffic and exposure when something comes up in your area. We will be the Hub for all MTB websites.
Also, we're planning on airing full videos. Eventually we want to be able to pay for all the content we have but the cart can't go before the horse unfortunately so I need producers to submit their films and other content to create a kick ass demo site to generate some investment to get the ball rolling. For films I'm looking for what was produced last year and even from a few years ago. The airing will spark new interest in "old" material and generate sales as well as using the older material as a place to imbed the teaser for the newest project the production company is doing to promote that for sales. It works great for everyone and sticks it to the TV land that doesn't want us even though we're attracting the audience that advertisers are aching to reach.

You're funny.

Good luck with that, seriously.

With BMX and Motocross out there why would the average joe EVER want to watch mountain biking on tv?

He wouldn't. Only to wach the odd guy eat shit off a cliff for some Real TV type appeal.

Maybe you just told them how it could work though? Add in some boarder cross, alpine, freestyle and you have the fringe network.

Hey Bukake. take you shit attitude somewhere else. the reason mountain biking isn't on TV isn't because nobody wants to watch it, its because most sports channels already have packed schedules and don't like to take risks.

However, Mountain Dew is considering adding slopestyle mtb to its contest series next year...when they saw the step-up teeter at whistler they almost shit their pants.

so why exactly do we need a mtb channel i mean the sport seems to attract riders fine without it. is so we can show the world how sick and hardcore we are and that we are really all rock stars with pornstar girlfriends . i started biking cause it was fun to ride around in the woods not cause i saw it on tv , i like biking cause it isn't that mainstream so why the fuck are you trying to turn it into the next major league sport

Oh god.

Seriously, he's right. Either the show will be made for riders, and then nobody else will watch it, or it will be made for the general public, and it will suck ass.

OMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMG MOUNTAIN DEW SUPPORTS OUR SPORT! OH GOD YES!

wow once again Mr. Park proves that he is a complete ass that can not see any farther than the end of his nose.

go and have a sit down with the drop-in boys and ask them how many viewers are tuning in on a weekly basis to see what the dirtbag crew is up to.................you really would be quite surprised.

they run a very succesfull show, and know a hell of a lot more than you Brian. Dude its time you put up or shut up, I am tired of reading your bashing of everything on this site.

would somebody ban this moron before we have to head to whatever hole he lives in and exterminate him like the vermin that he is.

Got this off www.northshorefreeriders.com

I think we get the picture with your 'got this off....' It's your user name after all.

It's your site isn't it? Wouldn't it be more appropriate to post 'I posted this on my own Web site and now I'm talking to people about it on someone else's Web site in order to bring more traffic to my Web site.'
