whistler races?

I'll be in whistler in late june into early july, is there some sort of weekly race there that I can try my luck in? or is there just crankworx? thanks in advance!

The Wed night races should be ono by then, not sure if its gonna be biweekly or weekly yet, but we hit up a different course each time to keep things interesting, most of the fast dudes in town show up, Dewar, Billinghurst, Morland to name a few....Crankworx ain't til Aug anyway....

WORCA will be hosting the series again in the bikepark, every two weeks, think the schedule is on our website, but I'll double check that......you must be a member of worca to race, for insurance purposes, if you have a cycling bc race licence, or are a member of a cycling bc affiliated club then you only have to pay $15 to join WORCA, $2 race fee.....the onus is on you to prove that you are either of those.....if you aren't $40 gets you a membership and helps support the trails in the whistler valley!

I surfed the WORCA website and coudn't find anything about the Wednesday DH series. Where can I find more (err, I'd settle for 'any') information on this?

Worca site is notorious for lack of updates, but just come out to the first one on June 15 Wed 5pm or so, pay your 42 bucks, 30 Insurance, 10 Worca and a twoonie to race, starts around 6-630. I beleive Bline will be the run of choice for #1 and every other Wed we race again, June 15, 29, July 13, 27, Aug 10, 24. Anything else you want to know?

WORCA rocks., Don't forget the xc twoonies too. I join every year just to help out an awesome organization and awesome trails. I also hear Flip fantasia auctions off his body to pay for tools every year at the bachelor fest

oh my?! I didn't know I was on the block! :) first race is june 15, every two weeks is the series.....40 bucks membership fee, 25 insurance, 15 to worca...if you're a cycling bc race licence holder, it's only 15, or if you're a member of another cycling bc affiliated club it's also only 15.....it is the responsibilty of YOU to prove that you are either of those, so don't just show up and ask us to take your word for it, cause we won't be having any of it! have your licence or membership card handy and ready for us to check out.....they are using b-line for the first event because we are trying to encourage those who normally wouldn't come out and give dh racing a go to try it....let's face it, for the majority of average riders, there is a 'mis'preception of the park and dh races being ubergnarly all the time....hopefully having a couple of mellower races can help get more people participating.....besides, b-line is a blast to rail and sprint, bring your pedalling legs, no sissy coasting will win this one! I will be the one handling memberships/registration, me or lena....so be nice and say hello!

I just checked the WORCA calendar at http://www.worca.com/itoolkit.asp?pg=calendar and didn't see any Phat Wednesday DH races in July or August? Are these races finished for the summer?
