I remember last year hearing there was a place at Whistler that rented helmet cams. Just wondering if anyone had any info on the place, price etc. I am going in June and would like to be able to get some memories other than the digital camera where you have to stop all the time. I searched the Whistler-blackcomb site and found nothing. Any help would be great.

$849 at Future Shop - saw $599 US - so I'm sure you can shop around.

Considering most helmet cams are around $300 alone, plus you get the other parts it's a good package.

Only thing about it that is a bit of a drawback but good for the suggested use - it doesn't use tape - Mpeg 4 recording to the 512mb of internal memory plus it takes Sony Memory Stick Pro cards for more room... means less moving parts to have go wrong, and keeps the overall size very small.
