Hey Guys, I'm sorry to always be asking for help on my little trail section, But I need some cedar.
I'm working on the switchback section of Lower Griffen, I think we should re-name this section Ernies Nightmare.
this little short section has a huge water seepage problem, and due to its location low on the Mountain and right above Mountain View park, there is not a lot of fallen Cedar left laying around (I can't find any) or many Rock left around this trail either.
So to all you builders on Fromme, can you point me to a supply of cedar somewhere on the mountain that I could cut, split and hike down to this section. there are a few areas where a low bridge seems to be the only solution. The Disrtict has supplied me with some dimensional cedar Lumber, but I think that it looks bad to use milled wood to build with.
Any tips would help.
PS I need to fix a little bridge that is falling apart just abouve Mountain View Park. I think Jeremy Powers built it a long time ago. the construction is fantastic and I don't want to do a hack job, so if anyone know how I can get a hold of Jeremy I would appreciate it.
