DAKOTA 50 - Spearfish, SD

now this is a race that i challenge anyone to try. it's a 50 mile single track mountain bike race through the spearfish canyon in south dakota. my friend has been putting it on for 5 years now. so that's 50 miles if you were counting. i myself have yet to tackle the race but one of my buddies finished (and that's the big thing) in a little over 9 hours. whew.

voluteer/rider supported. beautiful area and some crazy ass bikers.
they even do this race on single speeds and tandums. like i said, crazy.

that race is grueling as hell from what I understand. I never got down to it, unfourtunatly.

i'm sure most of you on this forum has never even thought about traveling to south dakota for some singletrack. well, this is your chance.

it's a little different than what your used to up at the shore...
cowboys and indians. deadwood and gambling. sturgis and the harley bikers.
