the site sayssss:
The excellent spring and early snow melt has allowed crews to start work well ahead of schedule on Freight Train and overall maintenance for the Garbanzo area. No one is saying anything yet but, if the weather continues to cooperate, Garbanzo could be launched ahead of the planned June 25 opening – stay tuned.
I am going to be heading up the week of the 13th to enjoy a week-ish worth of riding an uncrowded whistler between rush-hour weekend craziness. I was hoping to see garbo open up for when I was there to enjoy super early garbo-season action. Anyone have an inside track as to if they will swing a full week early opening for the top, or will we be stuck sessioning the lower mountain?
