I'm going to be in Whistler w/ my dog a bunch this summer and was wondering where she could be watched / hang out with other dogs for the day. Is there a place that offers this service? Phone numbers and/or email addresses would be great. Thanks.

Check out The Puppy Zone (http://www.puppyzone.com/welcome.htm), like was mentioned ^^^.
I heard they shut down for a bit in the winter...they might be open now though.

No puppy zone. Closed for good.
there is a new one in Function that I have not tried yet. It is called the "Dog Haus".
if you turn in at function, go past the dump, on the right will be home hardware, turn right into the complex that home hardware is in and head down the road. About halfway down on your right is a SMALL storefront. It says the Dog Haus on it.
I am not sure where they get walks (Interpretive forest perhaps?). I will be looking onto this more this weekend.
I have no idea on rates, but I would imagine $30 a day give or take. There will probably be a break for locals.
Gotta watch the time as well because you will now have to leave the mountain and drive to function to pick up your dog.
Shitty about Puppy zone, The hotel screwed them.

^^^I don't know the story...what hotel? What happened? Did the Mountain decide they didn't want them there, to make room for more developments or something, inside the hotel?

Man, I don't like what the Olympics are doing! And I've only been here just over a year!
If I'm still here come 2010, I might take a two-week holiday to escape the circus.
I don't think "The Olympics" is a good enough excuse for anything.

Theres a place in squamish where u could drop your dog if you are driving through vancouver. The lady has a small school bus renamed "the dog bus" and the dogs get to drive around with other dogs and go and chill in a big yard.
Has anyone tried this place (the dog haus) yet?
