For snowboarding or biking?

As far as I know, only Peak and Franz' chair are open...maybe Emerald too (for skiing/snowboarding).

And pretty much the entire lower mountain is open for biking. Haven't been up yet myself, but that's what I hear.

And, regular daily opperation now starts on Friday, not Saturday of May 2-4...at least that's what I've heard.

About that weekend...it's typically a really roudy weekend in the village, and the cops are out in force. There were stabbings last year (not by cops)...at any rate, don't do anything stupid while you're here, and watch out for people who are. :nerd:

we are currently operating the peak , emerald , franz , and the t bars .

off the peak there is the top of whistler bowl to shale , and glacier bowl .

on the emerald side there is upper whiskey jack , ego bowl , and jolly green giant . the upper park is still open but the lower one is closing .

all the terrain serviced by the t bars is open , but if you go into harmony bowl , symphony bowl , or over towards flute , you will be walking over dirt down sidewinder to get to the bottom of the emerald . harmony chair is not operating .

all the terrain over towards franz chair is still open , but going fast .

we have not been getting freezing temperatures overnight , so it is pretty sloppy .

Thanks skid...

My dad's coming out pretty much near closing day (June 5 I think?) Will the mountain be open still do you think? He's not looking for quality...just a story to tell when he goes back home. Last year only Emerald was open at that time (Peak was stormed shut) so I figure if it's the same deal, he'd be OK with it...

oh yeah . . . . we'll be operating , even if it is just for the story .

after the season we've had , this is a pretty appropriate ending .

Yea, I'm impressed that it hasn't shut down already! I can't imagine the glacier is going to be very good for the camps this year though.
