any ideas to making the biker-x course flow, anybody who has seen it this year knows that it is THE most tech and largest biker-x course whistler has ever seen. so for those who have been up there and for those who have looked at it, what do think will be the hardest section and how do you think the best way to attack it will be?

I saw it and holy shit it is tech, the hardest I know I think will be doing the triple in the beginning.

The beginning straight is a little tough, you may need a small bike and some big legs to power through the weird triple/double. Its really a good hard 4x this year, as long as some short DH tracks are, big features, and its not even finished yet. I say the hardest part is the first straight.

is this triply u are talking about like the camel hump jump at the begging from last year? Pretty much last year and the year before all you needed was tons of speed, rail the corners, and air huge.

Start ramp, double, double, then three rollers up hill, third being a launch to roller, flat step down THEN the first turn, thats my best description...

hard to follow, i'll have to see it.. is it gappable?

if your given er, you can double the first two (that's after the double double) but the gap to the roller is sizable...might be modified.

the triple you speak of in intended to be a step up double into a larger double, they need to be adjusted- right now there is no way you could make it, especially in a race.
you will see, I myself have already talked to designers, and I'm pretty sure they are still planning on tuning it in........

cory is right.......... needs and should be fined tuned for maximum flowness.
i would like to see the berms up top fine tuned abit in regards to shape( more bowl, less harsh shaped), and in regards to width.
the last big right hander at the bottom...............think about everyones tracks, the last half of the berm does not get used.
other than that, i think it will groove in pretty good.
we need to also ride the whole width of the track, try some new lines, so it doesn't turn into choo choo train time come race day because of only one fast line.
oh and how bout some race face haybails(ala supercross tuff blocks) instead of those cute little pink flags that are markin the course.?
i say put the gate in and have gate sessions too.
thurs nite gates and friday races?
that could be tues nite gates at grouse/weds nite race at grouse, then thurs nite gates in whistler/fri nite race in whistler.
be a good reason to come up friday after work for some............
best bx at whistler yet? we will see..............
i would love to see abit more of a 4x race scene be nurtured up here this year.
4x is cool.
anybody have any pictures they've taken? maybe from the lift?

Hook up with some of the local 13-14 year old kids and they'll show you the lines. I talked to some of them and they like it. The course will be tweaked over the time, but it is time to step it up. It will make everyone ride better. Might not happen over night, but it will happen.

we might just see those gates go up Stacey, JS says it will go in soon, they mnight also make a manual one to practice next to the course, like gate, roller roller berm, just for gate starts, having another series along side the WORCA twoonie might be hard though...talk to Eric or Seb.

Had a look at it with Richie today and there will be some changes made at the top and we will be finnishing the bottom before the weekend.

yeah, we're working with seb on the dh series, bikercross is unlikely though, we (WORCA) have our hands pretty full already this year with various events,
and W/B really can't run events without insurance...they looked into running the dh series without WORCA's club insurance and it just costs too much....that being said, I too wish they'd have a few more bx events, I'd love to get better at riding that course shoulder to shoulder with 3 other people!
