Speaking of rentals, I was up at Sun Peaks today and saw that Time 2 Ride has a full fleet of Norco A-Line's for rent. I wish I had a camera with me as there was about 20 of them all in a row, all shinney and ready to ride.

St. Andrew's House is the name of the building.
In between Citta's and the Village8 Multiplex. Beside SnowMotion and 21 Steps, across from BodyShop.
They do Norco rentals. ALines and Shore, I think. Shoot them an email just to be sure though.

If you're renting in the early season, the Konas from the mountain are a good bet. But once the summer gets rolling, those bikes get THRASHED daily...by the end of the summer, that's one tired steed.
if you go to evelution (sorry, wrong spelling) you can rent a cedric cracia style spec gemini w/ dorado etc, or a demo 8 w/ fox 40 for 100 a day. I think the park bikes are that much, so id rent from the shop instead.

Why not save some cash and ride chainless, its really good practise too, you get smoother and learn good pump technique.
I rode a couple days at whistler chainless it was pretty entertaining...

or at evolution u can rent, a sx trail with a 66rc also with deemax
With an EDGE card ($40) you get the $100/day Freight Train for $70/day. That card also includes a day of lift. Maybe the seasons have that deal as well.

i rode chainless 4 days last year it makes you faster
but according to my shop, riding it more would only make it worse, even without a chain
