I think the one that's up now is the final version, but who knows? There was talk of changing the Panorama race date, but I'm pretty sure its gone back to the original date.

Maybe Gary will pipe in on this one tomorrow.

Where is the best place to find the BC MX schedule info?
I like photographing mountain bikes, but shooting MX is even better.

On the Cycling BC mtb race calendar, MX is the marathon series, if you want to get even more confused...

On the PDF calendar that you can download from Cycling BC (here: http://www.cycling.bc.ca/index.php?id=5), they still list Panorama as being on Aug. 6 - 7. Then again, they also say that it was last updated in March.

Is the June 25 date correct?

Thanks!

yup june 25 is the race weekend, we have started planning already. timing is confirmed, announcer confirmed, i'll be working on the course with the trail crew end of next week. A couple of sections had rivers running down them and all the dirt is gone, say hello to a nasty rock garden, and a new bottom section that should add a minute onto the last years times. Also there is smoking deals on rooms for the weekend.

when you say it will add more time to last years times. does that mean you are going to reroute the course to more uphill? im confused what areas your going to change??

No, start location is the same, we're using more of the lower mountain, instead straight down after the rock garden the course will go across the mountain down the new section and back to the same final speed section. The new section is steep/tech. with 2 high speed connectors.
