racing near vancouver?

hi, my name is bjoern borchers, i am from germany and 19 years old.
i'm in vancouver for 1 week and stay here 6 month. my question is, is it possible to race some dual or 4x near vancouver. i don't own a car so i'm not very mobile.

or is there any race track for practice??

Hey Bjoern, the 4X/dual scene here in Vancouver is non-existent, there are no courses for that around here. There is a DJ park on Oak street (?) but no real race course. Most of the BC cup series have a 4X event but all of the races are at least a couple of hours drive from Downtown.

check: www.cycling.bc.ca for dates but if you are here only for a month it might not work for you.

Hit Whistler, there is always a good course up there but no races now, they open this Saturday.
