Does anyone have any tips for finding Upper Crippler from Grannies ? Is it before or after the Grannies sign ? What to look for ? That kind of stuff... Is upper Crippler even a trail worth riding ?
Thanks

Pick up a map from your LBS, Happy Hunting ;)

a map isnt going to help you find the trail.

I sent you a PM

well boo hoo indeed people shouldnt give directions to trail hunters who are so explicit on the board :(

the trail will find you when you are ready for it. don't ask for directions here.

Yes Obi-wan

I've found the best way to find trails I'm looking for is to leave the bike at home and go for a hike. Bonus is you can pile rocks and do some basic trail care while you're at it. I've found all sorts of hidden trails this way.

try gutsploders site...make a mental note of the stunt just before where the trail forks...

it's basically been shut down. someone reported that logs were piled along the trail so you cant ride it.

It's there but it's tricky to find, go left...

Upper crippler is a waste of energy. So many spots where you have to pedal uphill, just to get to a little logride or two.

ahhahaha apparently saying theres a pile of sticks in the forest is too descriptive? i think the posts that even refer anything to help should be edited too. thats fucking rediculous.

Who's responsible for putting sticks across it? Is there anyone maintaining it?

there has always been sticks at the entrance. the trail builders have simply tried to keep it low profile.

by giving directions on here, you are really going against the wishes of the orig builder... just like the people who think they are helping out by removing the sticks.

telling your buds where the trail is, is much different than posting on here. thousands of people read nsmb. if you really want to help the guy out, just send a PM.

:crybaby: I guess this means it's time to go and pile branches and sticks to cover the entrance again

nah, i think its still relatively tricky to find for newbs. i was up there on the weekend and i don't think a person would be able to easily locate the entrance without knowing where it really is.

davet's got it right, you'll definitely find it if you go for a hike. And you can explore the little options at the bottom (links to other trails)

its on Seymour right? Or is it Sumas?

1st time, I had to hike up from the bottom to find it. And now, when I ride in from the top, I still can't find it. Ha, ha!
