long time no posting here but meh might as well make it offical, the sooke boys are rolling up for the dh on prevost on sunday today, gonna be pre riding the course. if u see a silver scream with monsters (mine) and blue shore with 888 (lars) and a team dh with 888(matty P) uve found us, come say hi, im stoked its gonna b awsome and the way i see it if its in duncan im makin a catagory for anyone whos intrested, he who can wobble himself down the hill in any catagory the fatsests gets an after race beer from me.

sweet weekend up in duncan, hella props to scotty and the bct, paul and the iguna ranch guys and all the volunteers of the weekend, and what a slimefest it was!arived late saturday to get two runs in on the course. not to efentful except for the manhole grabbin us on suprise in the first run, ended in a sweet slide on the bank for me. personaly i was goin more sideways down the hill once we got into the forest than down but thats alright i love the 2 weel slide action.
Race day was awsome had a whicked breakfast at the ranch then met up with lorien at the shuttle area, got my first pre run in, damm clean sum sections at the top had more grip while the bottom was jsut a mud bog, then the conditions started to dry up all thru the day. end on my first run head to the truck smoke sum dope, head back up for my second run, had the whickedest shuttler there was up there, we musta been rippen at liek a buck goin up the hill. took a couple diffrent lines down to compare them for speed and what not, 1 of them ended me shooting strait over a lil bank into this 4 foot ditch and resulted in me grindin my right arm to shreds goin man i love my monsters cause that felt like ridin over a curb. made my way down and than paul from the igunan ranch gav me and matty a lift to a trail called memphis and that is what shoulda been the course, man did we rip on that.
made it back down as the beginers were running the course so i knew i had to get the next shuttle up to the top for my run and there comes scotty to save the day. made it up 5 minutes before i had to drop in, had a pretty clean run 2 incedents with trees, one my monster ate for brakfast and the other one just took me out, but i managed to stay on my bike for all the uphill. i felt liek pukin at the bottom. went to the truck smoked sum dope and than paul offerd anopther run down patchworks, and ofcourse i couldnt say no to that, about half way down i blow my tube, and jsut say fuck it and went hard from there, kept about pace with lorien ecept in the wide open sections and made it down, at least it wasnt the race run.
matty p earned the beer cause he ripped me by 22 seconds results were- matty p (888*) - 5th 13:55, me(187*) 9th 14:17, and brian(706*) at 22 and ryley at 28th then Simbs old president lorien arnold at 45thor so, mike at 49th,Lars did not finish due to his shock blowin into a couple a pieces on his pre run, all in all a sweet weekend rip.
