Can somebody help me?

i need help with resizing some photos to post on the forum. i'm a bit of a non-computer guy and i can't seem to resize my photos to fit them as attachments for posting, the photos are all over 2mb. please i need some help. PS, it would help if i got step by step instructions. thanx.
