Nice frame. Good geometry. High build quality. Heavy for an aluminium frame (6.4 lbs). Not exactly cheap, but neither is it super expensive.

morphines are rad bikes, they are really tough and reliable, i would say the best hardtail EVER. Geoff G hit diggers on that bike with a 5 inch single crown, plus they have a 10 year warenty(or is it life time?).

Naw.. it's ten years. But bear in mind that that's 5x as long as .243's warranty period and twice as long as Norco's. Plus 10 years is a long time. I know only one person whos had his frame more than ten years.

it is useless, in the fact that it is totaly over built.. i mean look at it.. look at .243's not a gusset on every single weld.. is it strong? plenty... My point.. no need for a gusset on every single weld..
Having a fully for urban is stupid, that is the reason i am getting a ht as soon as i can.

the bike is built soo buff, for people who want to ride an alumium bike frame, which feels alot different than chromoly or reynold, with an equal or stronger quality,
its the geometry that matters in biking, and since when was biking about looking fancy? its not a chopper,
btw, 243. weighs more than the morphine

wha?
are you serious?
an 8 pound .243 frame 'is' overbuilt genious! theres no need for gussets every where on cromo like the 6.4lbs Morphine, its built into the tubing! it may not make sense to you, but there's people out there that take themselves off silly shit/hack/case with there hardtails or DH for that matter......not with a pinner Orange Hitman or Planet X whatever but with frames that are built for those with sick minds.

i had a Morphine last year....the only complaint that i can think of would be the largest chainring that would fit within the chainstay was 34t or 36tooth....i think 34t with proper chainline! now i also raced Dh with this frame and wouldnt have enough gear to spin faster, but for trail riding/DJ/shore riding those small chainrings are ideal IMO.
id like to see a 150mm rear end, add wider BB spindle and have larger chainrings would make it complete.
no joke.....you can truly abuse this frame!

Yah cam I'm looking for a new frame as the 19 is starting to piss me off. Morphines are overbuilt, but not stupid heavy like some other hts I know.
i want a morphine, but i dont think i have the cash for it, maybe at the end of the summer.

wicked bike, built to last, at 210, this bike has handled everything i've thrown at it, loves big drops and is super stiff. i've ridden platinum front to back on this bike and a fully and it is waaaaaay more fun on this bike. nuff said.:P

Everyone on this board that owns a morphine please post up what size u got. Seems everyone thinks that anything besides the small is no good.... I'm 6'1 and weight 183 and think that the small is just a bit well, small..

i sold my medium Morphine frame last season to make way for a 223.....im a fraction over 6feet/215lbs last season, and would buy another medium again.
its your call, its best to find either a small or medium to test ride!

HA! banshee's are some of the worst built bikes ive ever seen...they need to pay the kids welding them with a bigger bowl of rice... I like the fact that an entire run of screams had to be modified with a dremel at there north vancouver headquarters just so they actually functioned. I do however give them mad props for standing behind there products as well as they do...i know if i made bikes that cheap the warranty would be non-existant..

they are wicked bikes that bender couldn't even break, and Pippen has had the best shit since the old syncros days
I rode a small, but I am only like 5'10-190 the only thing is the smalls look a little cooler cause it doesn't have the gusset in the top/head/down tube.

i rode one for a while. great geometry, a bit heavy (i found), and the paint on mine was pretty shitty. good bike but the paint scratched really easily.

I'm wondering if you actually have anything to base this statement on???
Or was it just based on the fact that the frames are fabricated in tiawan, so therefor it can be assumed they are of poor build quality!?
worse bikes you've ever seen???... man, you must be blind!

builttoride, how much does yours weigh? i would love to pick up a morphine with a setup like that.

ok just weighed it... which I had never done before...
42lbs... but bear in mind that my build has
double tracks,
3 peice cromo cranks,
2.5" front and 2.7" rear high rollers,
Downhill inner tubes, maybe more than 2... can't remember.
it could be made a lot lighter!
but saying that, I can still up it up on ledges which are higher than my front wheel without hooking up at all!:)
I love Morph, and Morph loves me:)
