Hey All,

I need help tracking down the bearings for KONA frames. I have had a lot of people ask me to get them bearing kits for KONAs but I don't know what bearings they need. KONA won't tell me cause they like to sell their kits for $100. I know some of the bearings and know I can put one together for under $40.

So if anyone know what bearings and how many any dual suspension Kona frame uses I would really appreciate your help in identifying these bearings. If you have a KONA and want to help me I will give you 50% off a full bearing kit for your bike!

Thanks for you help!

I'm still working on that Giant AC kit for you :) Funny how some bike companies will not cooperate and some are super helpful.

I've done full bearings on a Kona.

It was around $60-70, because the main pivot bearings are something like $20 each.

I took all the old parts out, and brought them to Raeside to be matched up. It was about 2 years ago, so I no longer have the receipt to give you part numbers.

I don't think you can do it for $40.I couldn't, and I went to the same supplier you would go to. (BC Bearing pricing is the same). But hey, its still cheaper than the OEM stuff!

I guarantee I get put together a kit for a Kona frame for under $40! I get wholesale prices and don't mark up 100-200%. I now know Kona's main pivot takes 2 6001-2RS bearings and the rear pivot takes 2 608-2RS and I am told the chainstay, and seat tube pivots are bushings. I can sell those four bearings for about $16.00-$20.00 total! Even if you wanted the ABI Enduro replacement bearings (which I also sell, although not yet listed on my site) it would only cost $35-$40.

Have faith, I can get you good bearings for a good price!:thepimp:

The main pivot on the bike I did was 4 bearings (a stab).

Great idea though, I like what you are doing!

You should email stuart@nsmb.com or cam@nsmb.com and look at perhaps some advertising on the site or a feature on your business.

Thanks for the idea, I've had a few site give me a little write up. The best (as far as traffic to my site goes) was the one written by Dirt Rag, but Drop Machine and ASilverTouch have also helped me out. PinkBike and many others have added links to my site as well. All in all the support has been great!

Maybe you could PM those guys and let them know about me so my email wont seem so out of the blue!??! Thanks fer da support!:thepimp:
