Is the Vedder Road repaired somewhat now? I'm refering to the nasty trench dug up by the 4x4 after the heavy rains just as you turn left after the final gate.
What about Sumas road?

Sumas is closed till further notice, check the sumas washout thread. The washout in question is about 3-4m long and about 1m wide in a very narrow section of road. Fixing it will be a task, so don't expect to shuttle it for a while

What you are referring to is the Forest Service Road aka Parmenter Road......2 truck loads of gravel were dumped into the main chasm that was causing a lot of the trouble. This allowed most 2 wheel drive vehicles to make it up but as is typical of this rainy time of the year and the heavy use that this road sees, I suspect that this is going to be a temporary fix and it will be back to 4x4 only....

For the road, my buddy at work was saying with just come clearance, and better tires, you woudlnt need 4 by 4 on Vedder. I've ridden it many times, but im not the truck/car expert.
