Can I get some 8inch rotors for my Deore brakes... I need my bike ready for Whistler!

As far as I know yes. If you're running the Int'l standard adaptors for shimano, hayes rotors should work to.

which deore? the 525 and 555 are different.

shimano does not make any adapters for the Deore to make them 8". all the 8" capable brakes from Shimano have different bolt spacing.

But, 525 has same spacing as Hayes and Avid calipers. i'm running an Avid adapter and 8" Hayes rotor with my 525...

it sure is... the brakes really come alive with an 8" up front...

especially that you can now buy Metallic pads for the Deores. Axoim started making metallic pads, they're labelled "Deore Mechanical" but they fit the 525. more power, way longer life and the modulation still rocks...

The model is stamed onto the brakes I assume.
